May 15 Newsletter:
For solo travelers, we all know that the most dreaded words are “single supplements apply”. Many river cruise and regional cruise lines have either begun to waive some single supplements or add a few solo cabins.
The best way to get a good price is to plan as far ahead as possible. We are seeing great deals for solos for 2018-2019. It’s not too early to think ahead to year’s end. As always, the Holiday Markets are very popular and likely to sell out fast. For adventure travelers, two of my personal favorites were both my “Amazon Rainforest Christmas” and my “Phnom Penh New Year’s”. Both river cruises included areas only accessible by small ships. Another important update is the fact that cruise lines are more frequently adding solo travel receptions, group dining tables and more ways to connect with other individual travelers. If you haven’t tried a river cruise, they are a great way to have your independence and a private cabin while having a group for meals and day trips. For more cruise options: 1. Visit our Travel Packages/River Cruises Europe and Asia and 2. Click right through to our new one-of-a-kind solo travel search tool, the Solo Travel Pricing Tracker; enter a Region, Type: Cruises-River Cruises and “No Single Supplement Specials”. Follow the links below to capture best solo prices while they last! Available only at Amazon.com
