Carry-on’s: The challenge for current travel is that permitted carry-on bags continue to shrink until they may end up being the size of a large purse!
Always check-out your airlines restrictions before you pack. However, what is most often publicized is the linear measurements as to length, height and weight. As I discovered on past trips abroad, certain of the airlines are also limiting the acceptable weight to carry-on even if your rollerbag meets the updated measurements.
On China Air, I was allowed a maximum of 11 pounds. With even small bags taking up some of that weight, little space remains especially for travel to colder climates. If they shrink further, we will only have room for true mini-skirts and alluring (?!) bikinis!
