The Art Nouveau elegance of the Grande Hotel Union, built in 1905, is not to be confused with the nearby modern Grande Hotel Union Business. Having been a guest at the lovely 4 star Grande Hotel Union, I can attest to how stylish it is and situated in a perfect location just a few minutes walk from the fabled Triple Bridge, pastel-painted Cathedral and multiple restaurants in Old Town.  The Gallus Embankment, a short walk, has the charm and appearance of St. Petersburg, Russia.

Guests enjoy free Internet access and a complimentary buffet breakfast.

Top cuisine is available in the on-site restaurant, the Smrekarjev Hram, or in the summer al fresco in the hotel garden. For lighter fare, you can try the comfortable bar or the Grand Café.

After a day of sightseeing, you can relax in the full-size indoor swimming pool,  work out in the fitness room and then relax in the sauna.
