Solo Travel Package Venice Bed and Breakfast: I traveled solo to Venice while being on an art history tour to Rome and Florence. Although tooshort a stay, Venice can work as a day trip.
Things to Do and See;
While in Venice be sure to have a drink at Harry’s Bar along the water. Then stroll through the grand Hotel Cipriani. Take a gondola ride. Tour the Doges’ Palace. Learn about the historic Bridge of Sighs and view the seemingly limitless Italian masterpieces in the fabled Venetian art galleries. For shopping enthusiasts, Venice is a real haven for fine leather and unique gold jewelry. See the shops along the bridges for gold jewelry and other chic Italian accessories.
In the midst of this historic setting, you will also find the 20th and 21st century masterpieces at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum.
I highly recommend taking a water taxi around the canals. It provided a perfect view of the city.
Locanda Ca’ Amadi Bed and Breakfast:
The Locanda Ca’ Amadi is in the center of Venice. It is only walking distance from the fabled Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Cathedral. This enchanting bed and breakfast is set in a tranquil courtyard. You can catch a water bus/water taxi to see the sights from the Grand Canal or stroll at leisure. This palace built in the 1200’s is filled with 15th century paintings. It reflects the grandeur and true Old World Venetian style. However, the Ca Amadi has been updated to provide modern conveniences expected by global travelers. Guestrooms include a private bath with hairdryer and a flat-screen TV. o be sure to ask about the select rooms with views of the canal.
