Vila rajska ptica:
The Vila is located in Bled, Slovenia. It is centrally located, within one mile of Bled Castle and 1.4 miles of The Bled Island. I made a past trip to Bled which had intrigued me for ages. It has been a famous watering hole for European aristocrats and vacation seekers since the nineteenth century. Ironically, when I looked through an old photo album in days before the Internet, I found a photo of myself on vacation in front of a cafe called “Bled”. It was written in the Cyrilic language which I had struggled with Russian language classes. The irony? The picture was taken in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. So, if you ever wonder if the small village of Bled was known far and wide as a great vacation spot that is proof that it was the place to go for a holiday!
Once I left the capital of Ljubljana and headed to Bled by public bus, I immediately noticed that it looked just like Switzerland. However, the good news was that the Slovenian prices were much lower! (Keep this in mind if you are planning a ski trip but coming up a little short on your travel budget this year.)
Vila rajska ptica offers guests accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster, a fireplace, a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. A fridge and electric tea pot are also offered.
The apartment has a terrace.
Guests can go skiing during winter funds or in spring and summer relax in the garden.
The Vila rajska ptica is convenient to major sporting events with the Sports Hall Bled only 1.5 miles away. If you are flying in, the Brnik Airport is twenty-three miles away.
Solo travelers gave a high rating to the Vila. Its low prices are hard to beat!
