Greek Isle Santorini Solo Travel Package for the warm weather months: This is a great cultural and history tour and adventure.
Things to see and do:
Known as the Black Pearl of the Aegean, Santorini is a long-time tourist magnet.
Highlights of things to do:
From dining on clifftops overlooking the sea to riding donkeys gingerly up impossibility steep hills past white-washed Mediterranean houses, this will be a memorable trip. I recommend Santorini for a standalone solo travel destination or as a combination with mainland Greece.
The Central Pyrgos Hotel:
The 4 star Central Pyrgos Hotel has 9 rooms. As a boutique hotel, solo travelers are more likely to meet fellow travelers than in large hotel chains. You will overlook the sea while swimming laps in the outdoor pool. The hotel provides free parking. Santorini is a small island but having a car can help. I first tried mopeds. Mine didn’t want to go up the hills. Rather than get out and push you, I traded it in for a rental car. (The hotel has both car and bike rentals available.)
Air conditioned guest rooms include modern satellite access and flat-screen TV’s. They also have a sitting area. Be sure to specify a room with a sitting room, view of the pool or the mountains. Each guest room includes a private bathroom. They also provide free toiletries an slippers and a bathrobe to relax in.
Although a small hotel, the Central Pyrgos does have a concierge to assist you.
Prices will likely increase not just with the seasons but as it becomes better known in the time following its launch.
You will only be about 2.5 miles from the Thira Airport.
